Women's pattern, wrap over dress

I was looking for a practical design that is really easy to make.

So here is a summer sleeveless dress, with only a few pattern pieces for simple sewing.

Lumineuse wraps over at the front.

A casing holds it together.

Elastic threaded through the casing gathers the dress at the hips and makes it very comfortable.

At the back a yoke with a teardrop shaped cut out adds a touch of detail.

The back yoke is edged with piping.

The upper back is lined for a perfect finish.

Lumineuse looks prettiest when made in floaty and lightweight fabrics.

I strongly advise viscose.
