Here is a pattern designed for the mums.

As a short dress, or a long tunic, a design to wear anywhere, both chic and yet casual.

A long button placket gives a shirt like feel.

Make a buttonless version for a more modern look.

A pleat either side of the button placket gives a neater appearance.

Pretty panels highlight the front sides.

The bottom back panel is gently gathered.

The cuffs are trimmed with piping and the bottom of the sleeves with two little pleats.
