Insouciante
Dressing up fortune teller costume (but not only...)
An easy to adapt outfit that is still very girly with its twirly skirt.
An costume that will suit the youngest little girls as well as the bigger ones.
In this pattern you will find the skirt, the tunic and the headband.
The tunic:
The upper yoke is lined and edged with lace or braid.
Beneath the braid the tunic is gathered then it is pulled in at the waist with elastic.
There are raglan sleeves.
The sleeve cuffs are gathered with ties that form a little ruffle.
The skirt:
Made up of 3 ruffles.
The skirt has an elasticated waist for extra comfort.
The bottom of the skirt is lined.
The skirt lining is visible at the front.
A girls dressing up outfit that makes a change from princess.
The theme can be changed very easily depending on the fabrics used:
Fortune teller, pirate, Native American...
Thank you Eglantine for the fortune teller, Norah for the Native American and Eurydice for the pirate!
