A jacket was needed for summer evenings...

To cover the shoulders of these young ladies.

To change things a little, here is an original pattern which will accompany you to all the grand occasions

A jacket that is slightly crossed at the front, with a pretty revered collar.

The sleeves are cutaway.

It is the summer after all :-)

The back is longer than the front.

Knife pleats add a touch of elegance when you walk.

The wrists are gathered and held in place with some little ties.

By following the first set of instructions the jacket is easier to make.

By following the second slightly trickier set of instructions the jacket can be made reversible.
